Tom Abbott is an award-winning writer of books and articles on the not-for-profit sector. A Certified General Accountant and a Certified Association Executive, Tom is President of Association Management Consultants (AMC) Inc., a consulting firm that works exclusively with NPOs. For over 20 years, Tom has been active in associations as a volunteer, senior staff person and consultant. His consulting covers such areas as governance and organizational reviews; governance training; executive recruitment; developing volunteer orientation programs, and more.
