About the Author

K.D. Patrick was born in Barbados where he began writing stories at a very early age, continuing to do so throughout adolescence and on into adulthood. In addition to the children's book Tiesha in The Land of Faraway, he is also the author of Kyrel's Wugga-wheels Wagon-mobile and Kyrel rode Dragons. He is the author of the comic book series Ravager, the graphic novel series Lung-mei: the dragon current and the upcoming graphic novel Code Name Wendigo (forthcoming in 2009). All comic books, graphic novels and teen/adult works penned by him are published under his full name: Kirk Patrick. This method allows his audience to easily distinguish between the various genres and age categories written by the author. An avid martial art practitioner, K.D. Patrick resides in Canada.
