Synopsis
Jack Baxter is a reporter with a secret power. For five years, he has hidden this secret - the power to turn invisible - as he rose to the top of his field as a journalist at a New York newspaper. No one calls him Phantom Jack except for his brother - referring to a derisive nickname from their youth - but it describes his power: the ability to fade from view. Baxter uses his "fade" to get the stories no one else can. And sometimes, he even plays the hero. When Jack's brother is captured in Iraq in March 2003, just before the start of the ground war, Jack musters the courage to launch a rescue deep inside the most dangerous place on Earth.
