These are reflections of Ron Harper, co-founder and CEO of Harper Corporation of America, on his life and work. From growing up in the Great Depression to celebrating 50 years of marriage, fathering a family of five and building a multi-million dollar company only begin to place into prospective this extraordinary man's accomplishments – a simple yet visionary man most call Ron.
Over his fifty year career, Harper has focused his attention on production and marketing of cylinders for printing presses, particularly the highly technical laser processed ink transfer rollers used in flexographic printing presses.
His early work experience gave him the confidence to launch his own business in 1971. Since then Harper Corporation of America has been a leading manufacturer with a global customer base and has contributed significantly to the technology printing presses. His company's pioneering work has given the flexography printing process a competitive edge and a rapidly growing market share in the global printing industry.
In this volume he shares the story of his life and his heartfelt advice and wisdom he has learned throughout life so that others might share from his many years of success.
