About the Author:
Jonathan Stull lives in Cedar Falls, Iowa with his wife Penny and son Dylan. He teaches English concurrently at Expo High School in Waterloo and the University of Northern Iowa, where he is a member of the Graduate Faculty in Creative Writing. For the last thirteen years, Stull has been a Poet in the Schools for the Des Moines National Poetry Festival. He was born in Evanston, Illinois and grew up in Arlington Heights. He earned his B.A. degree from Upper Iowa University and his M.F.A. degree in poetry from the University of Iowa. He has taught Creative Writing at the University of Iowa, the University of Northern Iowa, Wartburg College, Upper Iowa University, East High School (Waterloo) and Expo High School. His work has appeared in the North American Review, Kansas Quarterly, the Wascana Review, 100 Words, Voices on the Landscape: Contemporary Iowa Poets (Loess Hills Books), Trapeze, Artword Quarterly, Poem, Stand Alone, the Briar Cliff Review, and Iowa Language News. Singing the Lake's Desire, a collection of poetry, was published in 1999 by the Association for Textual Studies and Production at the University of Northern Iowa.
