Colorado based photographer Andy Marquez has traveled much of this planet creating breathtaking images that cover thousands of walls worldwide. Wheather it's facing a huge snow covered bison in the dead of a Yellowstone winter, or seeking out romantic castles in faraway lands, Andy's vision is a gift to us all.
Andy is from Bayside, New York and has lived in Littleton, Colorado since 1985. His only formal training with a camera was a two semester course he took as part of his journalism major at the University of South Carolina, where he received a B.A. in 1973. He began selling his photographs in May of 1984, and pounded the art show circuit in nationwide shows.
In November of 1992, Andy and his wife, Teresa, parents of three, opened their first gallery in Historic Downtown Littleton, Colorado. Since then, andy has photographed extensively overseas, bringing home stunning images from such places as the Lofoten Islands in Norway, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, and Kangaroo Island in Australia.
Yet in all his travels, there is nothing like coming home to Colorado and neighboring, New Mexico.
Through his lens, Marquez preserves and savors these often overlooked gems." -- Emily Drabanski, Editor-In-Chief New Mexico Magazine
