About the Author
James R. Benn has long studied the Second World War and traveled extensively researching the historical events upon which "Desperate Ground" is based. He is currently at work on the first of a planned series of World War II mysteries, weaving fiction and historical facts involving the many campaigns of the Second World War in Europe and North Africa. He resides in Lyme, Connecticut with his wife.
