This is Chickie Rosenberg's second book on snowboarding. The first book, Snowboarding for Women: a guide for the Betty Shred wannabe, was an immediate success with book signings, speaking engagements, interviews, and articles in Vermont publications and The New York Times. In 1990, Chickie Rosenberg began teaching snowboarding as one of the original snowboard staff of seven instructors at Killington Ski and Snowboard Resort in Killington, VT, the largest ski and snowboard resort in eastern North America. Today she is part of their snowboarding team of more than one hundred snowboard pros. She has developed a wide reputation for coaching, has taught more people who have, in turn, become snowboard instructors than anyone else on the Killington staff, and is known for giving a no falls lesson which has earned her a following of loyal students. She has a special approach to snowboarding instruction and very specific preparedness advice for this snowsport.
