This book is written by an American Muslim who has been actively involved in interfaith dialogue in the Bay Area, California. The book covers the basic principles and practices of Islam as well as questions on the mind of Americans who are interested to know more about Islam, the religion of approximately seven million Americans and more than one fifth of the people of the world. It is hoped that this book will help in promoting better understanding and cooperation between the Muslim community and Americans of other faiths.
