What You Need to Know is a valuable guide to preparing for the AP Exam in Comparative Government and Politics. You will be helped by chapters about your learning styles, the course, the exam, theories of comparative politics, international organizations, and the six countries studied in the course. Brief review exercises conclude each country chapter.
The chapters about the course, the exam, and comparative theory provide perspective on the curriculum, strategies for mastering the material and the tests, and an analysis of the discipline. An 8-page glossary of important concepts is an important study tool.
There is a realistic multiple-choice test and 4 free-response tests. Answer keys that accompany all the sample tests are fully annotated.
A companion web site offers updates and links to other sources that will be helpful for study and review.
