Daniel, years before he was thrown into the lion's den by King Darius, had served the famous and powerful King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. The relationship between this captive from Judah and this king was largely based on Daniel's uncanny ability to interpret dreams, an ability he attributed to God Most High. Childs retells the stories from the book of Daniel, chapters 2 and 4. Bridget Swinton's colorful illustrations bring to life this tale from the Old Testament, in which a faithful prophet teaches a king something about true power.
