About the Author
C. Leonard Allen has served as visiting professor at Biola University, La Mirada, CA, adjunct professor at Fuller Theological Seminary, and professor at Abilene Christian University. He holds a Ph.D. from the School of Religion at the University of Iowa, and is the author or co-author of numerous books, including The Contemporaries Meet the Classics on Prayer, The Cruciform Church: Becoming a Cross-Shaped People in a Secular World, and Participating in God's Life: Two Crossroads for Churches of Christ.
