Synopsis

For nearly two thousand years, the book of Revelation has been an enigma because it is so shrouded in Semitic idioms and cultural symbolism. In addition, the Revelation of Saint John, like all spiritual visions, transcends the limits of time, a characteristic that adds another layer of complexity that has led to uncertainty about such things as the timing of the rapture, the great tribulation, and the thousand-year reign of Christ. Consequently, Bible scholars, theologians, and commentators have become caught in an unending debate about the interpretation of many passages of Saint John's vision.

But God, in His grace, desires to reveal His glorious plans to his children. That is why He blessed Saint John with this prophecy of prophesies and why now, as the return of Jesus Christ draws near, He has poured out a special blessing and opened up new insights into the message of this most dramatic, picturesque, and enigmatic book of the Bible. The cornerstone of these new insights is the recognition that Saint John's vision is actually a compilation of seven parallel visions that repeatedly describe the same sequence of events in much the same way that the first two chapters of Genesis provide two parallel accounts of the creation, and the four synoptic Gospels provide four parallel accounts of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Based on a direct translation into English of the most ancient Bible manuscripts in existence; numerous books and commentaries by the saints; the traditions and insights of the Orthodox Church fathers; and the author's own guidance by the Holy Spirit; Revelation Revealed is posited to be the most accurate, clearly written, comprehensive, and ornate commentary on the book of Revelation ever recorded.
