About the Author:

Sam Shane is a news anchor for CBS 13 in Sacramento, CA. He played baseball for and graduated from the University of Minnesota. His passion for the game inspired him to write the Rocky The Mudhen series. He lives in Northern California with his wife and two children. Dan Marso is an artist/illustrator in St. Paul, MN. He played baseball through college. His passion for the game is evident in his illustrations in this book. Believe it or not, Dan has never had an art class in his life.
