About the Author:
Scott Tokar, MIMC -

Scott Tokar has been "playing" with magic tricks and kits since the early age of seven. As he grew, so did his love for magic. By the age of thirteen, he was performing regularly at children’s birthday parties on weekends and after school. At the age of sixteen, Scott was accepted as a Junior Member in the elite group of magicians that form Hollywood’s famous Magic Castle.

Under the guidance and supervision of some of magic’s best-known names, Scott honed and perfected his craft. In 1988 Scott received the 1st place trophy for his intricate sleight of hand at the International Brotherhood of Magician’s Conference held in Boston, Massachusetts.

After spending several years performing aboard cruise ships and in nightclubs, Scott began mixing his unique magic with a sales message. He then focused his career strictly on the corporate marketplace.

In 1989 Scott assembled a team of corporate trade-show magicians called Corporate-FX. Today he can be found educating and enlightening audiences in trade shows, meetings, and conventions around the world.

In 2003, Scott Tokar was bestowed with the highest formal degree in professional magic by The Magic Circle, London as "MIMC" (Member of the Inner Magic Circle with a Gold Star).

------------------

Harrison J. Carroll, AIMC -

At the age of eleven, Harrison and a boyhood friend pooled their allowances, hopped on a bus, and headed to the magic shop in downtown Buffalo, New York. There they bought a small trick and shared it, each one having it for a week before relinquishing it to the other. Little did Harrison know that these seeds of passion would eventually become his profession.

By the time he was eighteen, he was being schooled by some of the most distinguished sleight-of-hand artists of the day. In the mid-1970s he began performing magic professionally, and never looked back. He has worked with and performed for stars of film, television, literature, politics, athletics, and for people from every walk of life.

In 1982 he focused on offering his magical flair exclusively to the corporate culture. With a degree in marketing, it made perfect sense to combine magic with a company’s desired message.

Since that time he has performed at more than 500 trade shows and thousands of corporate events. His career has taken him to nearly every state and to thirteen countries.Harrison Carroll is also a respected member of The Magic Circle in London as "AIMC" (Associate of the Inner Magic Circle).
