Robert Dean Fowler

Dean’s entertainment career started when he formed the rock band Disturbance along with his brother Dan in 1987. Disturbance signed a major publishing deal with Polygram Publishing and a recording deal with Zoo Entertainment in the summer of 1991.

They toured with many of the major 80s rock bands throughout the country the following winter, spring and summer. After Disturbance disbanded, Fowler began his career in 3D. He started as an animator with game developer and publisher, NovaLogic, where he worked on several titles including Comanche, Delta Force and Armored Fist. After five years with NovaLogic, Dean began a collaboration with Brian Gorne as they developed a CGI film called Machine Phase. Most recently Fowler started his own company called Machine Films, Inc.

In addition to creating this graphic novel, it is also directing and producing an intro for an upcoming television show highlighting achievements in animation. The show will also feature his short film based on a story from the graphic novel.
