About the Author

The author has been in the investment and financial engineering field since 1986. He became a stockbroker despite a job offer from Microsoft. This is an example that demonstrates his lack of hunger for wealth and his streak of independence. He had spent the last 20 years working as a futures broker with Refco, a software designer and contract engineer for various investment and trading firms. In the late 80’s after getting a grubstake together he began to trade as a local (floor trader) at the Chicago Board of Trade. He mainly traded options on futures and the Dow Jones Stock Index Futures. Andras Nagy is now semi-retired and writes from his home in California and sometimes trades his retirement account.
