About the Author:

Everett M. Christensen has had a long and varied background in the business world. This includes running the college recruiting program for a large manufacturing company, senior vice president for a large bank, assistant professor of graduate programs in management at a prominent Midwestern university and twenty years as a management consultant to a variety of companies. He has a bachelor of arts degree in economics and a master of arts degree in psychology.Other published books which he has written include “Dynamic Supervision”, 1970, and “55 Magic Management Word”, 1989. He is currently working on a book on developing interpersonal relations to be entitled “60 – 40 or Fight” with a subtitle of: “How to get Along With Someone Besides Yourself.” That manuscript is scheduled to be published in 2007.In 1983, Christensen moved to the small Midwestern community of Madelia, Minn. (population 2,400), where he became president of –and subsequently bought—the Madelia Telephone Company. He started cable television in the community; remodeled the oldest brick building in the county (which now houses the local Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau); purchased and reopened the local movie theater which had been closed for five years; and he purchased the local newspaper when it was on the verge of moving from town.Now in semi-retirement, Christensen took the manuscript for “It All Counts Toward Twenty” off the shelf in 2003 and published it in December of 2004.
