This manual will teach the basic modeling, assemblies, and drafting functionality of NX4. The methods outlined here go beyond an academic use of NX4. Topics include: Fundamental and Intermediate Curves, Editing Entities, Expressions, Direct and Master Modeling, Design Features, Detail Features, Surface Features and How to Make NX4 Run Great! They are tricks of the trade that come from thousands of hours of actual use of the software to design some of the most difficult products in the world. This book, a joint effort by the DV team, compiles the tips and techniques developed by Steve over the years he has been training the engineering community. The exercises provided in this book are classroom-tested and will surely help you learn NX4. Using our popular NX, NX2 and NX3 books as a starting point, we have greatly expanded the content, detail and exercises included in this edition. Like our training programs, this book is project-oriented.
