About the Author

From 1996 to present, Stephen Samuel has served as President of Design Visionaries Inc. With a BSME from the University of Massachusetts, Stephen began his career in 1983 at the prestigious Pratt and Whitney jet engine manufacturing firm. A Brooklyn, NY, native, Stephen enjoys his position at Design Visionaries where he maintains strategic alliances with major engineering firms located in the US, UK, Holland and Japan. Stephen is the author of four distinctive books on the subject of Unigraphics appreciated by customers throughout the world.

Anuranjini Pragada, Industrial Design Lead at DV, has extensive industrial design and product design experience with different 3D Modeling software, including Unigraphics, Pro/ENGINEER, SolidWorks, CDRS, AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX and Mechanical Desktop. She has been a major contributor to a vast array of products from automotive to medical to consumer electronics. She specializes in creative uses of computer-aided design and modeling.

Gautam Baksi, Senior Design Engineer at DV, is a man of many roles. With a Masters’ degree in engineering and years of experience in such companies as Applied Materials and Ford Motor Company, he also brings a journalistic background. His writing ability coupled with his engineering experience and intimate knowledge of Unigraphics NX has been a major asset to our book.
