Jenn Ruben was born and raised in Michigan. She published her first book at the age of 24, "I Wanted Sunshine But Ran . . . Sideways." A graduate of Michigan State University, Jenn lives in California and Michigan and is currently enrolled in graduate school working on her masters in humanities.
