About the Author

Dr. Yvette Rice ministers the gospel of Jesus Christ with a prophetic voice throughout the Body of Christ. In 2002, she assisted her husband, Bishop Sam Rice, Th.D., in establishing the New Genesis Community Church in Decatur, Alabama. Their mission in ministry is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unsaved, the outcast, the bruised and the brokenhearted. Allowing the Gift of the Holy Spirit to work through her in the Fivefold Ministry, Dr. Rice seeks to empower the people of God to be faithful and effective as they fulfill God’s Great Commission to proclaim the Kingdom Message of Christ to the lost. A native of Decatur, Alabama, Dr. Yvette Rice has a bachelors of science degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa and holds a masters and doctorate degrees in theology from the North Carolina College of Theology. She is the proud mother of two wonderful children, Sharné and Christopher.
