About the Author

Until his recent retirement, Dr. Stovall spent thity years as a high school teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District. He is founder and current president of The Stovall Educational Uplift Foundation; a non-profit organization providing scholarships for deserving inner-city students.

Dr. Stovall earned his B.A., and M.A., degrees from California State Univeristy at Los Angeles, and his Ph.D from the Univeristy of Santa Barbara. He did post doctorate studies at the University of Southern Californaia.

Dr. Stovall is the author of, Mental Pills That Heal, and a children's novel, entitled, Run Bubbles Run. he is a composer, having written and produced two CD's. He is an ordained minister, a lecturer and a workshop facilitator. He is married and has one son.
