About the Author

Linda M. Van Beck is past president of the Florida Daffodil Society and receipient of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs' Award for Horticultural Excellence. She has spoken on daffodils at the Master Gardener annual conventions for Florida, Alabama and Louisiana, at the 2006 Florida Chautaugua, and at the 2006 Southeastern Flower Show (Atlanta). She is currently serves on the board of the American Daffodil Society as a Regional Director. She resides in north Florida. Sara L. Van Beck is president of the Georgia Daffodil Society, chair of the American Daffodil Society's (ADS) Display Garden Program, and is a past ADS Regional Director. She has published articles in The Daffodil Journal on growing daffodils in the South; articles in The Magnolia (journal of the Southern Garden History Society) on daffodils in cemeteries and daffodils in historic landscapes; and articles in The Florida Gardener on growing daffodils in central Florida and on the lost narcissus farms of Florida. She resides in metro Atlanta, Georgia.
