Why are you here? What were you born to do? And . . . how would you discover it? Lisa is in seventh grade and all she wants to do is spend time with her horse, Clarity. Her parents have other ideas about what she should do with her life. How does she know what direction is right for her? Lisa sets out on an adventure in which she is transformed into the Fairy Eponalisa. She is also given the challenge to ride on behalf of the Goddess of All Horses, Epona, and give Pronouncements on the Callings to horses who, like her, may not yet understand their life purpose. Through her journey, Lisa/Eponalisa brings peace to those of the Equine Realm who are blessed by a visit from her, she also finds peace within herself. Anyone who questions their own life purpose will find wisdom and inspiration in Eponalisa.

Inspired by her relationship with horses and her profession in psychotherapy, Melisa Pearce founded her company, Touched by a Horse (TM), in 1998. For more than thirty years, Melisa has bred, raised, and shown horses. She maintains ranches in both Arizona and Colorado. Melisa's BSW and MSW degrees from Arizona State University led her to a career in private practice that has included a training institute, developed with partners, for a 400-hour certification in Experiential Therapy. In 1982, Melisa began creating her unique therapeutic approach to human emotional healing through interactive work with both a therapist and a therapy horse. Melisa's passion is teaching others how to facilitate emotional healing and exploration of self through the interaction of horses. Melisa is proud to be a clinician at the Equine Affaire and the Equine Extravaganza. In 2008, she was selected as one of the Top 50 Influential Horsewomen in the US. Her spiritual retreats were selected for the top honor of Best Spiritual Retreat by 5280 Magazine (Denver) in 2007.
