About the Author

Paul's childhood interest in model railroading lead him to explore how creative objects could be combined with mechanicl motion to produce unique overall special effects. Paul has a BS in Design from UC, Davis. His portfolio includes projects ranging from logo, book & catalog design to photography, scale models and TV and Movie props design. In 1999 Paul designed and built the country's first science fiction museum in Old Sacramento. In A Beginner's Guide to Creative Effects for Your Model Railroad, Paul brings his extensive experience to the model railroader and explains how to create an animated layout in terms that are easily understood and applied.
