About the Author
Michelle created Thumbs Up Johnnie in the Spring of 2002. As a child, reading fueled her imagination and gave her an appetite for the artistry of writing. Her quest for creating a world where children can learn through humor and by examples of virtue is her primary motivator. Her vision is for The Adventures of Thumbs Up Johnnie to imprint traditional values and strong character in her young readers, as well as restore innocence to today s youth. Her stories are purposely structured with multi-layered humor, double entendres, and idiosyncratic characters to make the story lines interesting to many types of readers. Michelle is dedicated to creating intelligent and humorous stories that encourage character, virtue, entertain children and provide positive examples of individual and interactive behavior for all ages.
