About the Author
Adonia K. Smith, Ed.D. is an expert in Deaf education, Deaf studies, and American Sign Language. Adonia is a resource teacher in Loudon Public School, Virginia. E. Lynn Jacobowitz is a professor in the Department of ASL and Deaf Studies at Gallaudet University, Washington, DC and is an expert in ASL Teacher Preparation, ASL literature and curriculum design.
