Review:
One of the most frequently asked questions by persons interested in entering the delivery industry has to do with the availability of printed resources - books, how-to articles, guides, etc., - explaining fundamentals of the expedited delivery business. Until now, there hasn't been anything that comes close to meeting those needs, but a new book, The Business of Same Day Deliveries, finally fills the gap. Written by Jim Hansell, a former delivery company owner and CPA, the book is a first-of-its-kind attempt to address matters about this little-known segment of the transportation industry. Because of the author's financial background, the book focuses on financial practices and policies, thus making it a valuable tool for new and seasoned business owners alike. But it doesn't stop there. Included are chapters on Growing a Delivery Business, Pricing, Costing, and Selling a Delivery Company, amoung others. --California Delivery Association - Dispatch News

....considering its financial nature, the book is an easy read, not overly technical, and written with an open, airy style. This appears to be the first book written specifically for this audience, and is an important resource for anyone already in the urgent delivery business, or for anyone considering entering it. --Messenger Courier World - Fall 2005

I want to thank you for a great detailed book on the Same Day Delivery business..... --Gary Cochran - starting a courier company
