Synopsis

Growing up as an American expatriate, Richard Blackstone experienced betrayal and deceit at an early age. As a result of his father’s kidnapping by his own security team, Blackstone learned to protect himself and his family at all costs. Thirty years later he is forced to put his background to the test as he transitions from an uneventful corporate assignment in Argentina to a new position heading up the Latin American operations of a powerful U.S. multinational company headquartered in La Paz, Bolivia. He quickly finds himself at the center of a massive scheme of corruption and deception involving drugs and terror networks that threaten his career and family, and requires him to make decisions that will test his principles.

About the Author

Thomas Graves is an American and has lived and worked in Africa, Europe, and Latin America. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in the United States and has experience as an executive in serveral multinational corporations in the international oil and gas, engineering and construction, and project development fields. He has also worked as an independent constultant and entrepreur in these same fields as well as in providing security services and solutions to high rish clients and governments around the world. Mr Graves currently resides in South Africa

Anderson’s drug-laden silver bird lumbered down the runway and lifted off at 1:35AM, headed north for Colombia. The planed gained altitude slowly, and the dark, desolate early morning altiplano horizon made his 40F cockpit feel even colder than it was.
