Mike s love for educational leadership began in White Plains, New York public school system; continued at St. Mark s School in Dallas, Texas; and his dedication for scholastic excellence was affirmed as Headmaster of the Graland Country Day School in Denver, Colorado. In 1983, Mr. Teitelman became Headmaster of The Bishop s School in La Jolla, California, where he remained devoted himself for 26-years before retiring in 2009. In 2008, Michael and his wife Marlene were honored, as The Bishop s Board of Trustees unanimously named their new cutting-edge science building, The Michael & Marlene Teitelman Science Center. A compassionate compliment to teaching, Mike co-authored his first book, Timeless Lessons for Modern Parents, with his son Jeffrey Teitelman, and his wife Marlene Teitelman as editor. (And yes, he features many learned antidotes as proud Father of two sons and loving husband to his wife of more than 52-years).
