About the Author

Dr. Jeff Wooten currently serves as superintendent of Muscle Shoals City Schools in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He began his career in education as a physical education and science teacher and taught for ten years. He then served as the principal of an N-9 grade school, a high school assistant principal, and a high school principal. He is married to Jquan, an elementary teacher in Muscle Shoals. They are the parents of Mallory, Spencer, and Meredith.
