Let’s not confuse the number 55 with ideas about retirement. The author first retired long ago from a law practice in Pennsylvania. Then a thirty-five year stint in international banking produced a second career rest. He added several more notches to his resume doing investigative work in South America for an international consulting firm, producing a third sort of retirement. Now he claims to be a writer - which could result in a forth.....what? While a rather unconventional career, it seems to be proof of the subliminal thesis of this book - that there is no such thing as retirement.
