About the Author
Kathleen A. Furneaux is Executive Director, Pupil Transportation Safety Institute, Syracuse, NY. She is a nationally recognized expert and presenter on pupil transportation issues. She began her career 24 years ago as a school bus monitor and driver. Cheryl Wolf is Supervisor, Safety & Training, Lafayette School Corp., Lafayette, IN. She is nationally recognized for her contributions to pupil transportation safety, in particular pre-school child safety seating on the school bus. She has been ia major figure in pupil transportation for more than 23 years. Theresa M. Anderson is Director of Pupil Transportation, Jefferson County Public Schools, Lakewood, CO. She began her 16-year career in pupil transportation as a bus driver and has held numerous positions while advancing to her directorship. Stories from twelve additional contributors to the book were selected by the Publisher from submissions made by school bus drivers, driver trainers, monitors and directors from across the country.
