About the Author

Reed Hayes is a handwriting and document examiner whose business is located in Honolulu, Hawaii. He has studied handwriting for over three decades and has worked internationally as a consultant and speaker on various aspects of handwriting and documents. He is a graduate of the Andrew Bradley Training Course in Forensic Document Examination (beginning and advanced) and holds certification from the National Association of Document Examiners, the American Board of Forensic Examiners and the American Institute of Applied Science. Reed has served as a visiting professor with the School of Forensic Document Examination and has served as a consultant for the book and video production of The Diary of Jack the Ripper. He has written various handwriting related newspaper and magazine articles and is the author and co-author of several books, including Written in Crime: An Overview of Criminal Handwriting, Between the Lines: Understanding Yourself and Others Through Handwriting Analysis, and Guide to Children's Handwriting.
