The stories in this book are true accounts of my many experiences, and of how the grace of God has protected and guided me throughout my life. The purpose of this book is to share with you some experiences I have had with divine guidance. I also want to acquaint you with the word "serendipity" and help you understand that God has Divine Appointments for You as well. All of a sudden, I woke up. it was 6:00am. I told God I was exhausted and I just couldn't get up, so I was going to pray in bed. Not two minutes went by before the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "Vine Street" - that's all he said - "Vine Street." I somehow knew in my heart that I needed to do something on Vine Street. I got myself out of bed and got dressed. As I walked out the front door onto Winchester Avenue I don't know whether to go right or left. However, I felt like I was being led in the direction of Vine Street. Instead, I was led to Howard Street. Suddenly I saw something move on the opposite side of the street. It was a little old man who was trying to stand, inconspicuously, in an alcove at the front of a store. I said, "Excuse me, sir". I do not know if I have ever seen a more terrified look on someone's face. With fear in his eyes, he backed into the corner and put his hand on his back pocket, and he trembled. Confused by his reaction, I asked him if he could direct me to Vine Street. He just looked at me as if I were going to mug him. Finally he said, "Why is it you want to find Vine Street?" I thought to myself, I will never see this man again as long as I live, so I decide to tell him the truth. The man said, "Do you know how big Chicago is?" I said, "No sir, I have never been here before." He informed me Chicago was 80 miles long and 40 miles wide. "Vine Street is across town; it is barely two blocks long. I live on Vine Street. I am Jewish, but I am very interested to hear more about the Holy Spirit that talks to you."
