About the Author

An Arizona loan officer and owner of the Ritchie School of Real Estate Finance, Patrick Ritchie has taught thousands of people how the credit system works. He has authored the renewal hours course on credit, Understanding Consumer Credit Rights and Responsibilities, serves as an instructor at Scottsdale Community College and is a frequent guest speaker for the Arizona State University MBA Real Estate Strategies course. He is a member of the USA Today Small Business Panel and formerly co-hosted a weekly talk radio show focused on credit and real estate finance. He was an Evans Scholar at the Ohio State University where he earned his degree in Business Administration.
