About the Author

Joe DeLuccia helps Fortune 500 companies, such as Georgia-Pacific, Bush Brothers and Prudential, conduct and analyze employee research. As a long-time project director with Davis & Company, he wrote Reaching Employees: Best Practices in Distribution and Access and co-authored Working Wisdom: Capturing Employee Insights through Focus Group Research. Joe is an adjunct professor of communication at Montclair State University in New Jersey.

Kimberly Gavagan has moderated employee focus groups for many top companies, including Wyeth, MasterCard and Merck. She is a senior communications consultant at Davis & Company, helping clients with employee and HR communication efforts. Kimberly co-authored Working Wisdom: Capturing Employee Insights through Focus Group Research.

As Davis & Company's measurement practice leader, David Pitre has helped clients such as CIT, PepsiCo, Sun Life Financial and Trane conduct employee surveys and focus groups that demonstrate the value of their work. David is vice president of Consulting Services at Davis & Company. He holds an M.B.A., with a design management specialty from the University of Westminster in the U.K.
