David Square grew up in Winnipeg, Canada where he played hockey on outdoor rinks at River Heights Community Centre. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in English. This is Square's fourth book. In 1995, The Taunton Press of Connecticut published The Veneering Book by Square. He has been a freelance writer for 12 years.
