About the Author
Derek E. Johnson is a graduate of Morehouse College and Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. He holds degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering. He is also a graduate of the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. As a manager in the Strategic Development group, he helped define the technology roadmap for Bellsouth/Cingular Wireless from 1998 to 2002. Most recently, he was the product manager for Optimi Wireless, a small software company that grew it's annual revenue from $2 Million to over $30 Million in the 3 years that Derek has been there.
