Synopsis

About the Author
Four Plus Five is the latest title written by Holocaust survivor Mark Strauss, who describes his most recent novel as vividly dramatic and unashamedly truthful. Numerous oil paintings by this Shenandoah Valley artist are displayed at the Air and Space Museum, the United States Memorial Holocaust Museum, and in other public spaces and private homes throughout the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Poland and Ukraine. Strauss's artwork is also published in Crumbs (Marek Mann, 2006), a novel that he co-wrote (under the pseudonym Marek Mann) with Maria Martell. Crumbs is a semi-autobiography of Strauss's life as an oil painter and personal experiences during the Nazi occupation of Poland.
