Synopsis
From the back cover, "For some, the lawlessness and greed in the late 1800's in Kansas, Colorado, and New Mexico created a dangerous and deadly time to be living. Matt Slater, an easterner, travels to the western frontier in an attempt to reunite with Angela, the woman he loves. As he's riding through Colorado territory he meets Red, a ranch hand, who befriends him. His arrival and reunion with Angela is short-lived. Abduction, outlaws, cattle thieves, and life-threatening situations test the mettle of everyone involved. Matt is not a man who likes to start a fight, but when pushed to the limit he will not back down, putting his own life on the line to defend his true love and good friends."
