Synopsis
Rahsaan Jones AKA Stink is a bright teenager who was granted a second chance at a normal life when he's sent from a tumultuous existence in his native North Carolina home to that of his grandparents in Newport News, Virginia. However, as he tries to leave behind his turbulent past, Rahsaan once again finds himself thrust into the storm that is sweeping through the country, making him another soldier in the crack trade. Upon meeting the beautiful Bonni, and her lovely daughter Tayvia, Rahsaan begins to rethink the choices and path that his life has taken. Finding love, loyalty, and respect in Bonni, while recognizing that she too has had to experience the same rigors in life as himself, Stink begins to picture a future for the three of them. Carving their path to bliss, Stink meets Cross, a crazed New Yorker, who refuses to stop at anything to achieve his dreams of wealth and grandeur. Due to their encounter, life takes a drastic turn, causing all of Stink's plans to falter. Now, the only question is, will Cross prove to be a friend to Stink or will he simply be crossed?
