This new book by top shooting coach Peter Blakeley is a follow up to his first best selling book, Successful Shotgunning. This new book is a specialist target reading book for the Sporting Clay enthusiast. The game of Sporting Clays was originally designed to hone our skills in preparation for bird hunting situations. However, over the years, it has progressed far beyond that. Today's Sporting Clay courses include an increasingly diverse complexity of target presentations. As a result, the correct lead we need to see can be a head-scratching dilemma for many of us. Compound leads, with targets that require both forward and downward allowance may be even more complicated. But the needn't be. Reading targets is the application of trigonometry and ballistic science. About the Author
Pete Blakeley has been a full-time shooting coach for many years. Formerly, he was the resident coach at one of the most elaborate and prestigious shooting facilities in the World, The Dallas Gun Club in Lewisville, Texas. Before coming to the US in 1998, he was the coach at the Annandale Shooting Ground in Scotland. His innovative coaching methods have taught thousands of shotgunners how to reach new levels and improve their game.
