About the Author: My beginning was in the place of weeping willows, cotton fields, and Roll Tide, Roll-Sweet Home Alabama! When I was a toddler, my parents divorced, dad went to prison, and mom worked two and three jobs to provide for my brother and I. She became a born again believer led me to the Lord when was 8, and I gladly accepted Him into my heart. He became father, lover, provider to us. I did not know where my earthly father was, until I was in my twenties..We got no child support. Yet the heavenly Father gave us all the support we needed, and I knew where He was!!! I went on my first missions trip at age 18 and knew I was to be a missionary. I later went to India, Mongolia, and Fiji with Ywam. I worked in orphanages. I was reconciled to my earthly father in the fall of 2002. I surprised him at the prison in the fall of 2002.. He is a believer now, and we write letters and I visit him once or twice a year.
