This short book is an analysis of the role and dynamics of the ACORN Food Dependency Recovery Services Primary Intensive workshop. It begins with a history of the development and goals for the workshop in the context of other eating disorder and food addiction treatment. The second part is a description of the format and curriculum of the program, and we conclude with case studies of three recent workshop participants and a general analysis of the effectiveness of the Primary Intensive as a workshop modality.
