Synopsis
The wolf is a powerful symbol as teacher or pathfinder for stone-age tribes. All tribes past or present, whether they be American Indians, or Neanderthals, lives revolved around and relied for survival on observing nature. The traits of different animals and the uses of various plants showed them how to survive. Our ancestors learned from the social wolf, whether it be family life or pack hunting.This story is about Neanderthals, Homo sapiens who left Africa, and wolves living in rough harmony, in a period I call the age of innnocence. It's not a fairy tale. It is based on current and popular science. You will find love stories, hunts, dance, art, story telling, wrestling, and above all the humanity some of us have lost. Step into an ice age world of extreme beauty. The air was clean and rich as well as the soil. There were no fences or passports. All we had was each other and some furry friends, the wolves.
