About the Author

A communications expert, author, attorney and publicist, Gina Furia Rubel, Esquire, is the owner of Furia Rubel Communications, Inc., a full-service women-owned certified (WBE) public relations agency. With a niche in legal communications, Furia Rubel provides expert strategic planning and public relations programming to legal service providers, educational institutions, business-to-business companies and non-profits internationally. Gina develops and executes proactive communications plans working to enhance brands, develop business, boost reputation and increase the bottom line - all through public and media relations. She has worked in-depth with the media for many years. Beginning in college, she served as the media spokesperson for the Drexel University solar car team. She went on to handle all communications regarding internationally publicized death penalty appeals while serving as the judicial law clerk for the Philadelphia Common Pleas Court. She also served on a Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board Hearing Committee for six years, acting as the chairperson for three years.
