It would make me crazy, hearing people misstate, and even mislead others about, what is in the United States Constitution.  Being the supreme law of the land, it's important to understand it.But nobody trusts sources anymore. We've been manipulated and led around for so long, I get that. So I ran every single word of the Constitution down one side of the page, and right beside it, translated the fancy words into a simple, 5th grade version of what it all means. CATHY TRAVIS is a Capitol Hill veteran who has worked on numerous political campaigns. Most recently she served as Communications Director for Congressman Solomon P. Ortiz (Texas). She is an Arkansas State University graduate, and she currently lives in Washington, DC.
