Synopsis
This concise, lavishly illustrated (more than 120 color photographs), and entertaining guide offers some personal adivice on not only lodging, dining, and things to do, but offers information on love, sex, and romance; drinking; and a brief history of the island. The author suggests where not to stay, why a bike is far superior to a car while staying here, things kids will enjoy, and offers a glossary of miscellany, which explains various local terms, characters, and local traditions.

About the Author
Marsh Muirhead is a photographer and writer, former freight pilot and flight instructor, scuba diver, retired bodybuilder, and part-time dentist who has been coming to Key West in all seasons for all reasons since 1986. He has written for various magazines on travel, auto racing, and aviation. His poetry and fiction have been published in Carolina Quarterly, The Southeast Review, the secret of salt, Modern Haiku, and elsewhere. He publishes and edits The Island Journal on the banks of the Mississippi River, near Bemidji, Minnesota where he lives.
