About the Author
Floyd Wesley Brosman has been many things in his lifetime. He was born in the San Joaquin Valley to dust-bowl immigrants to California. He struggled to adapt to life as a nearly deaf person in an era of little or no services for the hearing impaired. He has been a gas station attendant, truck driver, union organizer and small business owner. During these times he attended college and eventually earned a BA late in life, becoming a teacher and president of a teacher's union while receiving a Masters Degree. After working 12 years as a bilingual teacher in California, he retired to a small town in Washington state, where he is an advocate for the rights of handicapped people. He writes for both online and print media and travels extensively in Europe.
